I suppose she does deserve that. But I liked her voice. I can see why Philip chose her to sing Under Clery's Clock.
I thought it was an interesting group of diverse styles, and did not dislike any of the acts. So it was a surprise to me when one of them experienced the heckling from some in the crowd. I know Dublin is a rough audience, but -- come on, he was there at Philip's invitation. the act was for Philip, not the audience.
Terry you are so right, Jake and I were discussing last night. I was actually shocked and saddened that the audience heckled that person. He had given his time to be there. The person in question wasn't really to my liking. Heckling is fine at an ordinary gig or a theatre show at the
Royal Court, Liverpool but not at something organised to honour a man with terminal cancer.
I can't bring myself to watch an of the videos yet although I have looked at the photos from the night. In time I will watch them. I think I speak for many when I say that I'm finding it very hard to come to terms with all of this.
