Just noticed that the date for the concert is the same as for my wedding. Not that I'd liked to be somewhere else on that special day - but I'll raise my glass for you, Mr C, that day. And there definately will be some Pogues music in southern Germany that night, too

Anyone any thoughts as to what each artist might sing/read. I hope someone gives faithful departed a bash. Surely shane will sing thousands. ..will anyone accompany him? What do ye think luka or brady will go for. Really looking forward to us all celebrating the music of one of the best. ..hopefully in his company. We love ya Mr C.

I don't know why it took them so long after all Liverpool isn't a million miles from Dublin but anyway they're here. All I have to do now is worry about getting there.

As the people who are travelling over will be in an around The Temple Bar area, i'd suggest The Quays Bar at Temple Bar Square. 2 minute walk to the Olympia. Grand little spot to meet up for a few scoops and take it from there. Say about 4pm or so?

What do you think? Heather? Soulfinger? Mats? Dublin lad? deisecelt? John C? Anyone else?

For those who would like to be close to the stage in the Olympia,i would suggest getting there EARLY, maybe even be in the queue outside the theatre around 5.30/6pm to secure a wristband into the pit. Anyone familiar with the Olympia will know what i'm talking about. Then you can go and raise many jars to Philip in Maureens Bar in the Olympia itself! Prior to that i recommend Brogans. As always though i'm open to suggestions.
