Blimey. Some of you people go
back-a-ways, don't you? You didn't like my bands before Foxfire? Or my pre-74 wardrobe?

Terrribe news Phil. Heartbreaking. You have always been so kind in both words on the website and your actions. Sorting out the gig in New York for me back in 2011 made it the best holiday I have ever had. I asked out of pure cheekieness and your answer 'if you dont ask you dont get'. Stay strong.

Philip,
Incredibly upsetting news. Even The Pogues are mortal...
I was at the Manchester apollo watching The Specials last night and I was reminiscing about that great night in there in 2010,the best Pogues show I have seen. Then got home to read this.
I wish you all the good luck and good health I can send your way.
All the very best,
Mickeyjoe.

We r here for a GOOD time not a long time, so Philip, 'party like it's ur birthday!!' A little lad here just passed away, Donal Walsh, due to re-occurring cancer but believe you me he lived life to the full, just like you. Get that bucket list up and running and go take it head on..........

completely devastated by the news....never met you in person, although you put me on a aftershow list on two occasions....in August 2010 i send you a pm that i will celebrate my 40 th birthday on the same day the Pogues play at the Melkweg, during the show, before you played thousands are sailing, you congratulated me to my birthday from the stage, what a nice gesture.....on the same day i saw you outside the Melkweg in the afternoon, wanted to talk to you, but didn´t have the courage, missed a big chance....don´t know what to say, thanks Phil, my thoughts are with you....

Philip, what can i say, this is terrible news,i hope you manage to pull through. One of my Uncles had a similar problem, 17 years ago, thankfully he managed to survive, despite having to endure torcherous treatment.Today,my Uncle Arjan is alive and doing OK for a 78 years old!Good luck to you Mr.Chevron,me and my family are praying for you.
