Dear Mr. Chevron,

I have no more words, everything has already been said. Peace & Love.

I keep on trying to get the triple time beat at the end of Turkish Song right forever...

I do feel (more) lucky to have seen/heard Philip sing Thousands on the 06 and 07 spring US tours.

"Absolutely not... There will be no deathbed conversion, no calling for the priest, no last-minute acts of contrition... But I do also subscribe to Hamlet's caution to Horatio that there may be more than is 'dreamt of in your philosophy'. I hope there is, that would be even greater fun."

Philip, i may well put that on my tombstone (or, as i'm unlikely to have one, have it printed in the funeral program). As usual, you've said it best. And, in the same thought, your gratitude for the unexpected joy of having lived at all, and had this world to enjoy, is heartening to read (what Crazy Horse meant by "Today is a good day to die" - ie: we are so blessed just to be here at all, that ANY day is a good day to die).

Thank you again for all you've shared with us. I'll be thinking of you. My daughter is trying to learn the piano music for "Thousands Are Sailing" for me, tho it's a bit beyond her current skill set. Whenever she gets it done, i'll share it on the youtube for you. If there is another side, do you think they're on line? :D

Much love from our home to yours!

Macgreetings from St.John's Newfoundland, thinking of you Philip from across the pond, and to quote Pink Floyd and Emily Lloyd, ''Wish you were Here!''

If they are, let's hope Mr Shakespeare's there. And Crazy Horse.

Thanks mate. Where you lead, we followed. The Devonshire and Bradleys Spanish Bar (I was there a few weeks ago, met Rick Trevan, who wangled a pint out of me). That is still a gem of a bar, with a marvellous juke box - Tenpole Tudor followed by Dusty Springfield!

'Under Clerys Clock' a classic love/protest song (I think?)

Truly great times, life-changing times were had by many people I know, myself included, you were central to that.

Enough maudlin bollocks, I'm off for a fag.
