Very well, thanks Dave, though Limerick in particular was sparsely, if appreciatively, attended. We played all the usual stuff and added some new songs, "Huguenot", "Heaven" and "New City" as well as "Hinterland" and "She Says I'm A Loser". :)

ya,
i was one of a select few to attend the limerick gig the other night.i didnt know any of the radiators stuff but i went to see phil and cait as im a big pogues fan.the crowd was very slack though and when the gig started there were only about 8 people there but it went to about 20 at the end.the music was great, the band did well considering the small crowd and were deserving of a bigger audience.phil and cait were great ,the other guy on guitar was good and the drummer did his stuff.the fifth member was on the extreme right wearing shades and played a tambourine, a kind of a synthisiser making strange noises and some backing vocals.he would not have been a big loss on the night and i would prefer the line up with out him.that was my first time in dolans in limerick, and i think they should have gone for somewhere else like roisin dubh in galway which gets a great gig crowd every night of the week.best of luck with the new record phil

this review is an insult to the non pogues related members of the radiators
the so called fifth member is an essential element of a vibrant and dynamic line-up

having seen the radiators on a number of occasions, i cannot agree with the hillbilly fella's post...
steve is an integral part of the band..to my way of thinking...a band is like a jigsaw...it needs all the pieces to make it work..i can appreciate that you are primarily a pogues fan...please try looking past the pogues whilst you are watching the radiators and you may see them for what they are...
A GREAT IRISH BAND !!!! as a rads fan...i find it quite disconcerting that you feel the need to rubbish a member of a much loved band
B.T.W.
looking forward to the pogues performing in london
THANK YOU PHILIP FOR ALLOWING MY WIFE AND I TO COME ALONG AND WATCH THE RAD'S IN LONDON
YOU WERE GREAT
ALL OF YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too have see the Radiators several times over the last year, I must strenuously disagree with the sentiments expressed by Hillbilly Mick in his review. The Radiators are one of the all time greatest ever Irish bands and have produced an enduring legacy. It is simply remarkable to see them back in action and all Radiators aficionados are looking forward to the forthcoming album with great anticipation. Pure quality, through and through.

Well 5pics have been added to the gallery now of the show.
The time is wrong though.Think they went on around 9.00pm and finshed at 9.50pm.

As i said a excellent 50mins from an excellent band,They really gave there all in this one, playin theirs shows at loud and high speed. As if there was no tomorrow.
Phil's vocals was on top note.People who have only ever seen Phil sing a odd song with the Pogues live is missing out and its a true talent when he steps up to the mic.He rules the stage in his own way which is a must for any Pogues fan to see.If you only know Phil as another memeber in the Pogues check the Radiators out.
Also he is a very dedicated artiste, seeing him that night showed it.He was forced 100% before he hit the stage, blocking out every sound around him.(Also the Redbull help for the final boost, definitely gave him wings cause he was flying)
Cait was really enjoyin herself on bass.Really gettin in to play fellin every note. Also playin with the crowd when she step up to the mic when it was her turn to show of her vocals.
Pete&Johnny was reliable.Their playing was fresh and sound great.
And Steve, well what can i say about his "dancing" not alot i guess.Had my finger on the 999button,thinkin he was goin to drop dead any moment.
And what Mike said on here,i disagree.Steve did well in my eyes i couldnt see anything wrong with him.He is a sound guy also and he is needed member of the band.
All in all a great night.Sorry of talkin shite cause i do that alot, but anyone who hasnt heard anything of the band go out and get an album.Start with Ghostown cause it can challenge any album for the number one spot.

Thanking the Radiators for the greatnight.Hope to catch you lot soon
All the best
Dave 8)
