Hi Philip
Was at the gig last night, it was wild and wonderful, as always! I was the woman up the front screaming for you to sing Lorelei! It's in my top 5 duets of all times, such a beautiful song and of course sung with the queen of harmonies herself. Why don't we ever get to hear you sing it? Wouldn't it be a good number to do with Jem's daughter, I'm afraid I can't remember her name, during one of Shane's 'rests'? A fitting tribute to Kirsty, coming up to the 10th anniversary of her tragic passing. Anyway I caught the plectrum and it is now a most treasured memory, thank you! Noreen x

Jem's lovely daughter, who also danced so beautifully with Spider during Fairytale, is Ella Finer.

Thanks for your comments on "Lorelei", I'll certainly give it some consideration.

lorelei would be a lovely one to have as part of setlist. just wondering, was the great "faithful departed" ever performed by the pogues? Christy does a great version but i heard an amazing radiators acoustic version recently
