I own a bass! I could totally do this!

Well ... except I never learned to play it. And haven't touched it in years. And am not entirely sure what corner of the house it's tucked into. And I live in California which, last I check, was a bit of a commute from Dublin.

But otherwise I'm totally on it!

I play bass... but I don't have a bass... and I live in Tennessee... DzM, let's start our own organization called Radiator Bass Flunkies for people like us.

Excellent opportunity, good luck.

Well, I wasn't there, but Pete Steve and Johnny saw 4 or 5 likely candidates. I understand the auditions went well and were even filmed for an upcoming TV documentary on The Rads. One clear favourite has emerged but there will be no white smoke until later this week.

Hey Phil,

Did I miss something? What ever happened to Cait? Wasn't she with you guys for some time? What is she up to now?

I wish you luck in finding a good reliable Bass player!

Cait has not been with the Radiators since October.

Who's making the documentary of the Rads I'm guessing RTE? When will it be finished by, do you know?

I don't actually know - it's a series about Irish songwriters I think. I'll know more next week - they're interviewing me in Dublin for the prog.
