I asked Pete Holidai about it and he said he would let me know if they print any more up. I will let you know if I hear anything.

Excellent. I'm thinking there should be a mass wearing of these shirts at Brixton.

I haven't worn mine yet. I'm saving it for Manchester.

Pete Holidai (lovely bloke that he is) gave me a full sized advert for Phil's testimonial concert (he signed it too). I'm going to make a frame for it this weekend.

SF, top man, I am sure that you will wear it well at Manchester, are you venturing down to London for the Brixton gigs? Remember talking to you at Brum some? years ago, I believe your lad was 14? at the time, he must be in his twenties by now....

'Ello Moose. Nice to see you back aboard. Yes indeed, had some great nights in Brum. Joe's 21 now and still comes to see the Pogues every tour. Because of work I can only do Manchester this year. I bloody hate London anyway.....

I've just noticed that Shane sang the line "danced up and down the street" at the testimonial after years of having Brendan Behan throwing up and down it, and making the point in Victoria's book that he wouldn't sing it like that because Behan was a terrible dancer. Am I right in thinking that's one of the reasons Phil took the song on, that he didn't want Shane to be arguing with the song onstage? It's nice that he sang the line as written.

Agreed, John Murphy, it was nice He even sang the last verse as written, with the lines "from fear of priests with empty plates", etc.

Yes, Phil said as much somewhere here on the forum. But it was sweet of him to sing it "straight", which i think he also did at the Paris shows, if i'm remember the DVD correctly.

I can't bring myself to watch it all even after all this time, but I lived it and I have the memories.

Is there any chance to send me a link to the best áudio version? Is there a video link?

I would love to see it, but I live far far away.

To LSMelo - no video recording was made of the show. Some posts were made to YouTube. As far as I know, this is the only audio version of the show available. If I am wrong, please, someone let us know!

I don't think the RTE player will let you, an mp3 version was posted on the Radiators' site. If you've no luck finding one, drop me a PM and I'll see if i can help you.

This was 2 years ago today. What an emotional day that was. I can't believe how quickly it's gone over.
