Hello, just a few words for Mr. Chevron and everybody who has cancer, my father have been fighting against 3 different cancers for 25 years, (including this year an operation of a parotid cancer), it is very hard, first for the man and also for the family, but everything is possible, and cancer can be conquered, it is important not to fall down in the discouragement, sov friends and family support are very important to win the battle, and here you have many friends.

When the world is too dark
And I need the light inside of me
I'll go into a bar and drink
Fifteen pints of beer.

Question for Philip Chevron

Post Thu Oct 08, 2009 10:11 am

Hiya Philip,
Heard you had a bit of a rough time healthwise.
Hope you're okay now. These things are sent to try us, as my granny used to say.
I'm well out of the loop (been living in Spain for years now), so I tend to hear about things a few years after they happen...
Anyway, I just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery, and if you've already recovered - as you appear to have - that's great.
Keep it up : )
If you're ever over this way (I'm in Granada) give us a shout and I'll give you the VIP tour.
Take care,
Zak

Nice to hear from you Zak, I was wondering about you recently, as I often do when I hear a politician giving an empty stump speech or when I find myself on an etymological quest! Mercifully, I appear to be fully recovered from the health scare though there's still little hope for the rest of me.

Excellent news.
Empty stumps... yeah, I remember that tape. I missed my calling : )
I don't even want to think about how long ago that was.
Listen, mind yourself
Stay well
Keep rockin'
