Thanks for the link Philip.

As I've never heard back from the place I originally ordered it from it looks like I will be ordering it from here.

Looking forward to hearing it at long last.

I wish you'd continue to insist on a refund from them. I don't have your hard-earned. YOU don't have your hard-earned. THEY have your hard-earned. Bastards.

It's OK, I ordered it online and I've given them no money yet - their loss.

Well, that's quite another matter. Their loss indeed.

Great! it is on my wishlist at highest priority so my wife will surely find it makes a great gift!

Am I correct in assuming the cover for the US will be the "less controversial" Abu Ghraib / Statue of Liberty rather than the Gipper and Dean? I'd prefer the latter but naturally the music is what I really want.

There is, as yet, no US release, therefore no US cover. The version on sale at amazon.com is just an imported version of the UK release on amazon.co.uk, in case anyone has issues with international ordering. Therefore, it'll be Lib n Grab.

Well I haven't got the album yet but I've just added to my Amazon wishlist... which means I'll probably have it within a month or two (I get Amazon vouchers every month  ).

I don't understand this, Heather. The copies reached the Ace warehouse early last week - I have one myself - and there's no reason at all they should be delayed. Sounds like a clerical cockup. Why not cancel the order and order it again?

Took your advice and tried this, still says delivery after 29/11/2007.

Think I'll just have to wait.

Heather, I ordered it from Road Records in Dublin, and they were very efficient -- the CD arrived promptly, even allowing for them having to order it and then post to England.

Just checked Play.com who are also pretty reliable, and the album is listed as being released on November 5:
