JEM FINER presents WILLETT & PATTESON'S AMAZING CAMERA OBSCURA

Rocket-scientist, Artist and musician Jem Finer, last seen at Fuji Rock festival playing banjo with the Pogues, returns this year to present a living visual panorama in the form of a camera obscura.

Based on the principle of the pinhole camera, a darkened space into which light enters through a lens and an image is viewed on a screen, a camera obscura?is?a live 2D representation of the world passing by.? This simple technology retains a magic dating back over 2,500 years, the first and original moving image, a real time "film" projection.?

For Fuji Rock, Willet and Patteson's Amazing Camera Obscura?will be rehoused in a hemispherical geodesic dome, built according to Buckminster Fullers specifications
