Bum Steer

Post Mon Oct 17, 2005 7:56 pm

According to http://www.ktv.no/~oyl-ktv/ DM Bob & Country Jem (Jem Finer of the Pogues) put out a CD called Bum Steer.

Has anyone heard it or know if it's any good -- it's difficlut to track down and a bit pricey when ordering to American(approx $31.83 from Gemm.com).

Want to make sure it's worth it or get some sound samples before investing in this kind of money.

Hello
On my website(the one you linked to) you can find a link to a video from the album.

Cheers

Does anyone know of a reputable site that sells to the USA? The US version of Amazon doesn't have it, and I'm unsure if the German or other European ones will ship to America.

Hate to double post, but is that Jem or Bob on vocals?

You can get it from this site:

they share vocals half/half I'd say and they sing some songs together.

After bringing home a copy from the Glasgow shows, I ordered another from this site and it arrived fairly quickly, with a "thanks, Jem" written on a little card that had his spaghetti recipe printed on it. 8) What a nice extra! I'm keeping it.

And yes, we liked it enough to buy another copy. Some of it reminds us a lot of the Butthole Surfers. Wish they'd tour through this area.

Having read the recipe I do note that no celery is implicated.

Cheers Philip,

This makes me wonder if I should cook it upon ordering the album. That quote was also hilarious enough to go in my signature, lmao...

Recipes aside, I think we have established some interest. Point me to some material I can buy... I like the video!
