Banjo pick-up

Post Thu Jul 21, 2011 3:14 pm

Hello Medusa forum.

I'm new here and just wondered if anyone knows Jem Finer uses to amplify his banjo?

I also play and want to fit a pick up into mine with a pre amp, if anyone's got any advice please?

Thanks

Don't know about picukps, but Fishman makes some good acoustic pre-amps that don't cost an arm & a leg.

I play Tenor Banjo, and I´m very satisfied with my pickup & pre-amp from microvox: http://www.microvox.co.uk/
