ok, first of all last night's concert was great! I thought they even sound better live than on their record. They played for ca. 90min, the set consisted of pretty much every track from "Bum Steer" and a few new ones.
Jem showed that he's still the king of banjos, but also played guitar, sax and some great slide guitar while DM Bob provided solide drumming (bass drum + a drum that sounded like a hihat) , guitar and harmonicas + some crazy sax on Pachinco (the only Pogues song last night

). They were really enjoying playing together, they are not too serious about their music and had a good laugh if they messed up a song (only happened one or two times) or crackin jokes in between.
After the show, Mr DM Bob held an auction for his paintings with Jem assisting. I was lucky to get a painting called "Silberblick Jesus".
Once again, if you got the chance to see them - go for it!! They also tour the UK in October.
