I have asked this before on the forum, but now that we have the "accordion-man" here on the board James might be kind to answer this.

The appreggios on Streams of Whiskey, how do you play them?
I have tried to run from top note (d-chord for example) d-f#-a, down and up again but it dont sound as cool as when you play it.

Without getting my accordion out, but tapping fingers on the top of the table, it feels like I'm playing F#-D-A-D-F#-D-A-D, etc. and then G-D-B-D-G-D-B-D, when it changes to the G chord. I'll get out the accordion later and see if that's what I do. Hope that's some help. It's not rocket science, but I can understand it's hard to hear, because, rehearsing for the first reunion christmas tour thing, and I hadn't played those songs for yonks, I had to listen really hard to some things to get myself to remember how it went. A bit like riding a bicycle, but not really hurting yourself when you crash into the bushes.
