just to let you know:

Cranky George were scheduled to play Molly Malone's in Hollywood 21st October, but now won't be. I'm trying to figure something out with Molly's for sometime in November, when all of Cranky George will be available (damn actors).

Judy -- Too bad. I'd be willing to coach you in English for that spare copy of the Low and Sweet Orchestra CD. Let me know.

OK. MY ENGLISH IS NOT AS GREAT AS IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERING MY FATHER WAS PRINCIPAL AND TEACHER FOR 30 YEARS. GOOD THING WE CONTINUE TO LEARN UNTIL WE DIE IF WE'RE LUCKY AND I DON'T PLAN ON DYING SOON. I HAVE TOO MUCH TO BE FORGIVING FOR. AS FOR MY 2ND CD I HAVE TO POLITELY DECLINE THOUGH I AM SURE YOU WOULD ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DO. I PURCHASED IT THROUGH AMAZON. SO AS YOU READ MY MESSAGE PLEASE CORRECT AS NEEDED. I CAN ALWAYS USE A GOOD TEACHER.

Pay no heed to that fella, Judy. He's fishing for a new job, that's all.

Thanks!!!! That was so great of you to say that. I was feeling a little worried about what I was saying. I really should know how to write properly, having been out of school for a while now., not saying how many years but more than I want to admit. Anyway thanks that was awesome....... Have a great day ;)

However, I'm pleased to inform that CG will be doing two shows in November, both at Molly Malone's. The first one's 11th November at 8.30pm. The second one's on November 25th at 8.30pm. This latter one is the traditional CG post Thanksgiving gig. The former, well, armistice, let's say.

CG in November

Post Sun Sep 10, 2006 4:03 am

James, that is great to hear! I would have loved to go to Chicago but I can't get myself on a plane. I'm terrified of flying. I did, however, check into the flights, but that's about it. I just can't do it but now I don't have to.... and 2 shows!!!! Thanks. See you in November.

My 20 year old son just had back surgery and even tyhough everything went really well and is the only child I have at home I am a single mom, so I may only be able to do one of the shows. I am really planning too come to at least one of the show I think it sounds like I should go too the later. Thanks for all your help. Now how do I go about buying tickets? I don't want to miss out. By the way this is an awesome site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Ok I finially had a chance to read through alot of this web site and I really feel like a fool! The information about buying tickets and such are here I just had to look, I guess I really do need more than just a english teacher. I was really impressed with all the time spent on each Bio's, information on past tours and concerts. Now when I do come to see Cranky George I can never reveil who I am. I am such a IDIOT...... It takes me awhile but really I eventually get it....................

judy- don't sweat it. molly malone's is a low key place... cranky george has been drawing larger and larger crowds, but you shouldn't have any problem getting in, especially if you're there around 8pm or so. it's nice to sit and have a drink in the bar and then wander into the music hall round about the time you see one or two of the bandmembers frantically searching for strings or a mandolin strap or something. molly's is right at the corner of Fairfax and 6th street, the shows are usually 5 to 7 dollars and there's parking to be found in the residential streets surrounding the bar. just be sure to watch for the posted signs... LA's parking enforcement is second to none. best wishes for your son.
