I have this:

A B A F# E F# E C#
B C# B A F# - E F#
A - A B C# - C# E
F# - - - E - - - (this and the preceding, the bonny banks of loch lomond lines)
A B A F# E F# E C#
B C# B A F# - E F#
A - C# E F# - E C#
B - - - A - - -

Where each line is a bar and each hyphen lengthens the preceding lettered note by a quarternote. I was stumped as how to signify which octave any of the notes was in, but I figured from listening it'd be obvious.

Thanks, James. Good meeting you about a year and half ago at the Wiltern, by the way.

Bottle of Smoke

Post Thu Jul 24, 2008 2:35 am

Our lead singer has deemed "Bottle of Smoke" to be our second Pogues cover. Anyone ever tackle this one? A free copy of our new album for the winner.

Cheers,
Dave
