Shortly after the message i submitted yesterday,i received a call back from someone at Faber and Faber who told me that 'Here comes everybody' will not be published till April 5 2012.There has been little or no coverage of the book in any of the book trade magazines,in fact the current Faber catalogue has no mention of it.The woman i spoke to was very helpfull, she told me more then i needed to know.So there you have it folks, keep saving those pennies......

Love it.
As a sometime copywriter for book covers, I'm well aware that it's possible to source a positive word or two out of even the most adverse of reviews. So the cover designer's confidence is probably well assured.

The Maestro is billed to be appearing at the Laugharne Weekend, 13, 15th April. Looks a good line up- John Cooper Clark, Cerys Matthews and the ubiquitous Howard Marks....

We're walking away from the Berlin Wall (in 1985) as you do. I think Shane may have been trying to climb over into the East, or plant a tree there or something. We left him to it. As I remember, he was next seen in a Berlin hospital, or cop shop, or both.

Thanks McGreer, I was hoping the release date was a bit off.
I still refuse to tweet.
