great show in long beach!

for those of you who couldnt make it to see filthy theiving bastards--well you missed a great show!!!!!!james and spider are amazing as always--although james is still my favorite!!! cant wait to see them again tonight!!!!JAMES: i was really hoping to hear drunken boat!!!!!

i wasn't out at long beach, but the zen sushi show last night was fantastique. johnny, darius, spider and james - everyone was terrific. here's hoping more of that comes our way in the future, but even if it doesn't, i feel lucky to have seen it last night.

agreed. the bastards were a fantastic backing band for spider and james. really good fun, and great renditions of both pogues tunes and bastards tunes. johnny told me that they're gonna try to get spider on their new record... maybe they'll get james in there as well?
