Anti carpel tunnel stuff

Post Sat Mar 14, 2009 7:17 pm

For the attention of James Fearnley and anyone else who is interested.
I read with interest in 'Bloguemahone -Dispatches from the road' that James was doing exercises aimed at preventing carpel tunnel syndrome. Here are some excercises that I have found on the web that I am pleased to draw your attention to-if they have not come to your attention already...

Also there are reports that a device called a 'powerball' is of use. I have one of these and it makes a good warm-up before playing (I play, or try to play, tenor banjo.)

Hope that is of interest, if I find any more I will post links to them. Also would be interested to know of anyone elses experiences, and can anyone provide more details about the exercises that James was refering to?
All the best. Badger.
There's two kinds of music: good and bad. I like both.
