Just listened to the songs on Myspace, and love them. A quick question, did The Low and Sweet Orchestra play Detroit? I am arranging a trip to CA soon to see some friends, and hope that it can coincide with a gig.

Thanks.

Low and Sweet Orchestra might have played Detroit, but without me. They went on a three-month-long tour round the country at the beginning of 1997 on which neither Dermot nor I, nor I think Kieran except for maybe a couple of dates closer to home, could accompany them.

At the end of the week we're going to try and figure out who's in the country during February.

I saw them at a Borders book store in Pittsburgh. I was still in High School and was not permitted entrance to the venue they were playing later that night because i was not 21. I cut school and walked a few miles and heard about a half hour set. I had just discovered the Pogues and saw in the paper that a band with a former Pogue would be playing in Pittsburgh. Alas you were not there James, I think your wife had just given birth. I do not know why they performed because the show was not broadcast on the radio, and that nights show was sold out. However it was a nice excuse to cut school.
