The MacManus Gang
Cait is listed as vocals on the 7" & 12" "A Town Called Big Nothing " D1052 & D1052T
Did she do any more tracks with this line up.
Was this the same tracks as used /recorded for Alex Cox film
"Put the Kettle on ."

The Macmanus Gang, according to my production notes from the 2004 Straight To Hell Returns CD for Ace Records is:

Elvis Costello - Guitars, Acoustic Bass Guitar, Vocals
Ross MacManus - Trumpet, Flamenco claps
Steve Nieve - Piano
Cait O'Riordan - Vocals
Pete Thomas - Drum machine, Tambourine, Percussion

The only recording I am personally aware of is this one, made for the Cox movie and still in the Ace catalogue:

Might be worth my mentioning that though Cait can definitely be heard, "Big Nothing" is not actually a song, as such. What her and Elvis are actually heard singing is the infamous "Chocona" (sp?) jingle, from the doll stand at the Fiesta in Almeria while we were making the movie. The bit of our own "Fiesta" at the end, when it all slows down, also comprises this tune. And that really is all there is of it, which is why the feckin' thing drove us nuts. Especially Mr Woods, who really did say "Will you kindly kill a doll for me", only for it to become his own personal groundhog day, even 20 years later.

The above 7" & 12" are on Demon Records 1987
Same line up as you have listed , but lists Elvis Costello as Delclan MacManus and Steve Hart on piano.

Also lists Steve MacMillan as "mixed by"
Tracks are;
"A Town Called Big Nothing " " Return To Big Nothing" on 7"
"A Town Called Big Nothing ( Really Big Nothing ) " " Return To Big Nothing"
" A Town Called Big Nothing (The Long March )"12"
"Put the Kettle on ."

By way of trivia contribution, Declan MacManus is Mr. Costello's real name.

Yes, and Ross McManus is his dad. Collectors of a certain age will remember his records as vocalist with the Joe Loss Orchestra, especially the cod-calypso "Patsy Girl"

She wrote/co-wrote a few, notably "Baby Plays Around"

Baby Plays Around
It's not open to discussion any more.
He's out again tonight
And I'm alone once more.
He's all I have worth waiting for,
But baby plays around.
And so it seems I've always been the last to know.
To hold on to that boy
I had to let him go.
I wish to God I didn't love him so,
`Cos baby plays around.

I try to be strong, to hold onto my pride.
He doesn't even know it's wrong,
How much I hurt inside.
And heaven knows I've tried -
But baby plays around.
Just a plaything.
It's hard to reconcile the facts I'm facing.

It's not open to discussion anymore,
He walks those shiny streets,
I walk the worn-out floor.
He's all I have worth living for,
Baby plays,

Baby plays around.

ebay.co.uk

I got my copies off Gemm, where there seems to be more record shops as opposed to individuals selling off record collections;more likely to pick up rareties.

Since done some digging around and think I have found out (but will stand to corrected );

King Of America cd track Lovable is co wrote with Cait
Blood & Chocolate cd track Tokyo Storm Warning is co wrote with Cait
Spike cd track Baby plays Around is co wrote with Cait
Mighty like a rose has a track that is is co wrote with Cait but do not yet know its title .

Above may be wrong and they may be more .If you can confirm or not please do.

There are a few more Costello-O'Riordan tunes on the Wendy James album Now's Not The Time For Your Tears, an album they wrote together in a weekend.

Would never have got this conection. Transvision Vamp/ Wendy James and Costello ?
""In 1993 she released her first solo album, containing songs written for her by Elvis Costello, "Now Ain't The Time For Your Tears". It was not a commercial or critical success, and she was soon dropped by her record company.""
I certainly never bought it .

I did however buy "King Of Amercia "on tape. Lovable is playing now.
Also had "Blood & Chocolate " " on vinyl which has "Tokyo Storm Warning " MacManus/O"Riordan.
