An armed gang stole £25m in used notes from a security depot in Kent, England, yesterday. They were a bit disappointed apparently, because what they were really looking for was the hidden stash of leftover Pogues merchandise.

I don't think there are boxes & boxes of Pogues merchandise hanging around anywhere. Just a few really big shirts that no one bought, because that is all that seems to be left at the end of the tours when i go to get my freebies.

Calm down, calm down, Rum Sodomy Guy! I've been too busy doing things like watching Arsenal destroying the Whores of Castile and Barcelona obliterating the Whores of Stamford Bridge to come on here and look at people discussing the respective merits of the Pogues and the Popes or whatever. So, have you got tickets for the 17th already? I can't put you on the list because my guest list is full already but i can probably get you some aftershow passes and the t shirt won't be a problem.

Well if you are feeling generous I will be at the 3/9, 3/16 and 3/18 shows with my wife and would love any passes, etc. Not sure I have anything to trade but I have committed to writing a travelogue for this fine site and it would make for a more thrilling read.

sorry, but i think you may have opened the floodgates there.

So next summer you'll be camping in a Pogues tent at one of the summer festivals?

There will be a Pogues on-line store opening shortly, if thats how one describes such a thing in cyberspeak. And Steve Lucas, i have a little something for you. Drop us a line. Just for the record, America was a fucking blast.
