That is awesome! So, what is this about a Pogues film? Is it old stuff as well as new? Is it all live shows or what?

I don't quite know what it's going to be yet. But I CAN tell you this, Shane plays a little baby deer whose mother has been shot by a hunter. He is befriended by an amiable rabbit (Jem) and together they go off through the forest having many adventures with the other woodland creatures they meet along the way (Philip, Terry, James, Andrew and Darryl). until eventually, they encounter the little deers father, the mighty stag, the king of the forest (ME!) I roar a challenge to the moon and then we all live happily ever after.

Actually, as far as i know, it'll be a documentary about the band with lots of unseen footage both old and new.

So Spider turns out to be Shane's father... I'd never have guessed that.

"Search your feelings, Luke eh Shane you know it is true ..."

"NoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Spider, I hope you don't try to squeeze the whole 25 years into an hour or so. You should give it the 14 hour Beatles Anthology treatment, your early days in Hamburg, Shane declaring himself 'Bigger Than Jesus', the psychedelic years etc

As much as I do like watching Animal Planet, that would be 12 hours too many of watching the animalistic forms of the Pogues run around in the forests ;)

I'm dreadfully tempted to run a Saxon joke now, but I guess it would be lost here. Plus, I have no idea to spell Taschentücher in dialect.
