I have a pretty recent price sheet from Colin Goldie (the other maker of the Overton Whistles)

Soprano F, E, E flat, D, D flat, C € 145
Mezzo soprano B, B flat, A € 158
Alto G sharp, G, F sharp, F, E € 183,28 (wtf?)
Tenor E, E flat, D, D flat € 203
Baritone C, B € 220, 40
Bass baritone B flat, A € 238,96
Tunable Alto € 219,24
Tunable Tenor € 238,96

There is a nine-month waiting list for Colin's instruments.

URL: www.overton.de (I copied the prices in here because Colin's website sometimes seems not to want to work properly.)

When I get rich, which will probably be around the time when hell freezes over, I'll treat myself to a low C.

Michael Burke Tin Whistles

Post Fri Mar 03, 2006 12:21 am

Overtons are good but Michael Burke is an excellent whistle maker. Best of all, he has many in stock lows and highs of any key.. I ordered a Low D from him and I got it in about 3 days. NO JOKE! I found out about him through Eric Rigler (the uilleann piper on Braveheart & Titanic soundtracks). I also found out that Paddy Keenan (Bothy Band) plays his low whistles. They are worth it and the Low whistle is about $220(US) and the high whistles are around $170(US). He is based out of Illinois.
