Hmm. Well, we don't want anyone chopping off their arms over this but should either of you want to part with your shirts i'll get you loads of new ones and tickets and passes for Brixton. But i do understand if you want to hang onto them. After all, Terry Woods does have lovely handwriting...

Spider,

I'll check when I get home. I'm not too bothered about the grey one going to a good home ! I just hope it's still there but I need to think about the other one

I have tickets for Brixton tomorrow night so am possibly tempted.

I'll post on here later to let you know

Spider,

Unfortunately it looks like the 10 pounds t shirt has gone to that great place in the sky along with many other shirts over the years. The wife thinks it could have gone in last years clear out arghh

Whilst searching high and low found some interesting bits and pieces ....... a Pogues scarf from the '88 grace tour, a Pogues cap bought at some gig in '87 with obligatory fag burn in it and a few other shirts. Still have the St Pats t-shirt from 1985 if your interested. Let me know

Any particular reason why you were after the 10 pound shirt ?

Well, if you are sure you don't mind parting with it I can leave you some passes at the door and we can meet in the bar after the show. What name should i leave them under, how many, and what is your t shirt size? If there are any problems ask for Ross and he will find me. Thanks Kilkenny, see you later, Spider

Spider,

Ok, I'll bring it up with me tonight. There are 4 of us going all massive Pogues fans . We've all got tickets so 4 passes would be great. My t shirt size is medium a few autographs on it would be really appreciated...yours and Mr C's definitely.

Before I forget put the passes down against my name which is Mark Murphy.

Please confirm. Will be leaving Brighton for Brixton in a couple of hours. See you later

Kilkenney (and possibly Spider) -- the Guest logging on in various versions of Whistle Player, Pogues Whistle Player, and Whistle may not actually be Spider all the time. Just thought I'd help you out Kilkenney, as I believe a guest can sign in under any name. If not, then never mind. Hate to hear tomorrow that you got fooled by some mean forum guest.

A guest user can post under any non-registered or non-blocked name.

As always, I encourage Spider to contact me so that we can put some measures in place to prevent that type of spoofing.

So, ...oh voice from out of darkness.... did he get spoofed, or was that Mr. S using three different guest names?

That would be telling. :)

My best guess is that it is in fact Mr. S hastily typing ever shorter names into the "name" field on the guest post form. I base this on his rather detailed knowledge of their tour management (certainly not secret stuff, but stuff that would take a bit of effort on the part of the spoofer to know) and the fact that Mr. S certainly has used those user IDs in the past.

Eric V, thank you for your concern. I can happily reveal I have just got back from a top night at Brixton and Mr Whistle Player came up with the goods.
