The bond between supermodel Kate Moss and rocker Pete Doherty was all down to great sex, according to Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan.
The catwalk beauty split from drug addict Doherty in July after he was accused of cheating on Moss with a mystery brunette. She has since gone on to date singer Jamie Hince.
But MacGowan believes Moss will not be able to recapture the same connection she had with Doherty with her new love interest.
He says, "(Doherty and Moss) were perfect for each other. Totally nuts about each other.
"They were one of those couples that would argue loads but when they got back together they would have mind-blowing sex.
"They had this great chemistry and that's something they'll miss."
