You think so? They are experts on management and promotion without any doubts but hardly have something to do with these particular gigs..

If Shane did a gig it would be called "Shane MacGowan with ...". Now it's "Sharon Shannon with ...". Shane is very special, but a guest, alongside other great acts. And as a guest he is to do from 4 up to 6 songs. If everything goes according to plan.

Don't underrate spell of Shane and €40 tix. It will keep everyone in his seat :wink:

Do I mean Friends of Shane? Perhaps I mean Paddy Rolling Stone. I get easily confused. Noel Kenny often knows these things...........

Sharon Shannon plus Dessie ) Halloran Plus Mundy plus Shane MacGowan played in Letterkenny last night.

Shane sang The Irish rover,The dark side of the street, and Fairytale.

Encore waS Galway Girl and Rainy night.


If anyone can get to Portlaoise on New Year's Eve, It will be a treat

I typed the above while I was pissed. Just in case there is any confusion, Mundy sang Galway Girl, not Shane.

Sorry about that. It was Van Morrison's "Dark side of the road". I'm not a Van expert, I think that's what the song is called

You're probably right..

I'd put it in my top 10 gigs ever. Even if Shane didn't show it would still have been worth the entrance fee.
