Just came across this on youtube, have no idea what the translation is, but "Shane Macgowan" seems to be the chorus...

This is a splinter of a popular (and great) Swedish band called Bad Cash Quartet. Gotta love Swedish music! The singer teamed up with another band's member and formed Hastpojken (and the 'Shane' tune), while the
drummer went on his own with a much poppier sound as Jonas Game. Ironically he has a somewhat Irish-sounding (nice accordian/penny whistles) tune off his debut album 'ADHD'...check it out:

First 3 tunes are very nice pop songs:

Hopefully someone can translate the SM tune to hear what he's saying--I think I hear Pogues and Popes references

The song translated!

Hola,
I had a struck of Monday night creativity and decided to write a translation for you guys who are fortunate enough not to be Swedish, harr harr.
The title obviously being, "Shane Macgowan!#%"
"
I wake up feeling tired and even a bit drunk. I put a hand on my forehead, and then i realize that, right, someone already did all this before
SHANE MACGOWAN!#%
Victoria I believe that you understand what it is all about, you understand what is good, and the pogues never understod what you two share
SHANE MACGOWAN!#
You were drunk at *Liseberg, and you were drugged up at Henriksberg. I know that your leg isnt working anymore . But I'm still thinking about you!
"
* Liseberg, amusment park and concert hall in Göteborg. Henriksberg is also in Göteborg.. but Im not sure if he says Henriksberg
Don't complain too much about my grammars now because the structure of the sentences in the song are -very- inchorent. Hehehe.. I heard this song on the radio the other night and I kind of like it.. I don't know if it's because it's a bit punky or because it is about Shane. Maybe a bit of both. Cheers guys!

Thanks for the translation

What about the mention of Popes and Pogues I think I hear? Incoherent lyrics...hey...how appropriate
I really want the mp3 for this tune (and Andas too)--they territory-restricted the album though! Just cause they sing in Swedish doesn't mean you can't enjoy it (like current Kent). If someone from Sweden could buy it for me at the klicktrack shop I could paypal the funds to them...they want all of $2 US dollars for 2 songs. I'm sure SEK isn't the only currency Sweden handles as Westernized as that place is...
Yes, I've tried hiding/changing IP to another area and no luck.
http://www.klicktrack.com/shop/release.jsp?r=58600 for all you Swedes (and maybe Dutch) readers.
