You could head to Glastonbury for Iggy. :D

Yeah I'm there.

(hopefully)

I'm there too. Iggy is firmly pencilled in for Saturday night. Can't wait for that one.

Didn't Disny try (and fail) to sue Tom Waits for his version of Heigh Ho?

I am pretty sure I heard a Tom Waits interview where that happened. He said Disney felt he corrupted the song's innocence as a children's song. Tom managed to show that he sang pretty close to the exact lyrics of the traditional version of the song. If I get a moment, I'll try to find a reference.

Anyways, watch out for the long and evil arms of Disney Co.

Yeah, Hal Willner is the man behind that Stay Awake: Interpretations of Vintage Disney Films album issued twenty years ago, the gig is being billed as a follow-up to it.
Suppose he knows what he does :)

Big Walt is a cryogenically frozen, violent paedophile Nazi, who stole all his work. Or, so I have heard.

Disney is harmless in much the same way WAL*MART is harmless.

Yeah, you´re right.

Reminds me of what Steve Earle once said about Garth Brooks:

"Well, he really can´t sing. He really can´t carry a tune in his bucket. His records need a lot of work. He is really tone deaf. He´s one of the worst singers I´ve ever heard in my life. I think Garth Brooks is kind of evil just because he sucks so much energy and money out of the business."

Well, Bugs, at least, came from the more lubricated Warners/Mel Blanc stable and was never less than subversive, not a claim Snow White was ever able to sustain for long.

Steve said that? What a star! In Ireland, Garth Brooks is bigger than U2 and his merchandisers do a comparably distressing line of silly hats, all worn at a rakish angle by Brooks's gazillions of fans. Who knew there were that many Alpha Males and Ditzy Dames in one small European country? One day, somebody will explain to me how that happened but not, with any luck, today,

Disney character by Charles Thorson.

Ok, let's strike Bugs out and replace him with more ducks - Donald and Darkwing (I'd add to heroes list the third one - Daffy, but he is from another league as well).

BTW psychos sweat over Rorschach tests... What thrilling conclusions can be made on basis of someone's favourite animated characters list...
