No need to fight even, anything can do that to ya, even chewing gum does that. I know for a fact it does to me...

Do you have a source for that quote? I'd like to add that to the wiki...

Indeed I do, sir. I'm a big fan of the old school punk bands, though some of the new (non Busted/McFly/Ashlee Simpson) stuff, e.g. Avril Lavigne (as you might've guessed from the avatar), or Green Day isn't bad either...

Brushing teeth in Ireland

Post Wed Jan 05, 2005 11:24 am

FYI:Brushing teeth in Ireland is a very recently acquired habit. Indeed, until the last 30 years or so we didn't even have shower/tap water (as opposed to well water) in many areas of Ireland. For this reason, a lot of people belonging to the older generation have dental problems.

I could make a supposition it's becoz of water they drink but i know it would be a senceless hypothesis - they don't drink water. So let's stick to alcohol version. Dastard sugar rots them away... Somebody has to make a first step in defence of alko-consumers' rights all over the world and to sue producers of spirits; have anyone of you ever seen the slightest hint on the labels kinda the stuff contains sugar which can cause dental problems?!

Shouldn't be any sugar in spirits, but there is loads in lager, bitter and guinness - it's used in the brewing process.

Kidding? There IS sugar!
Spirit is a result of fermentation:
C6H12O6 -> 2C2H5OH + 2CO2
where C6H12O6 - glucose (sugar), C2H5OH - ethyl alcohol (spirit)
