Unfortunately, I think I'd have a problem with step 1 and step 5.

Nice to see the traditional messages of congratulations are still as important as ever and have not been replaced by cynical impressions of celebrity.

That's nothing.. Look at the shite PRS has to put up with.

james

So your hero picks the lovely Mary Vic up on her way down.I digress she didnt climb the social ladder to come down. After sixteen years of trying to land someone rich and famous she settles for the best she can get.Other wannabe rich and famous would call it scraping the bottom of the barrel but middle age is middle age is middle age.Thats not to say she will not try to live the life of the rich and famous when weds your hero and you saps will be paying.Noel excluded having coattailed your hero for the past twenty years the poor boy deserves a freebe or two.The big question is will the lovely Mary Vic turn the wedding into a nice little earner?

Congratulations are very much in order for Shane and Victoria. It isn't a publicity stunt, it has been confirmed by Victoria in an email to me via My Space.

Since Victoria's book got mentioned, here is some more info (just info - not any comments):

Angel in Disguise? by Victoria Mary Clarke
"Victoria Mary Clarke was miserable. Separated from soul mate Shane MacGowan after twenty years, broke, hopeless, fat and nearly forty, she had no reason to get out of bed. Until one day, not expecting an answer, she demanded some help from whatever is up there in charge of things. And to her utter astonishment, an angel answered. This is the true story of what happened next and of the conversations that followed."
Publication date: March 2007
