I would be suprised if he used a PG48, as the standard vocal mic even small venues provide is an SM58 or Beta 58. The PG is the budget model typically used by garage bands, or amateur shows where the mics are guaranteed to get stolen or destroyed.

maybe a barrett 50, now there would be some swinging in the crowd thwn or maybe just a plain old M50 ( not the motorway ) and Philip could load with rounds draped over the neck of his guitar..

now that would get the crowd going :twisted:

I can well believe it. I remember going to a festival where the promoters had given the artists a list of the kind of crowd behaviour that they weren't allowed to encourage. You can guess the sort of thing: no moshing, no pogoing, no crowd-surfing and so on. Early on in their set, one of the singers (I can't remember who it was) read out the list to the crowd. Then looked at the crowd, grinned, and said, "Just do what you like, guys." :wink:
