Try registering again. Occasionally they have server problems - maybe this was the case.

I agree with Celtic.Dave - The signal:noise ratio has improved tremendously since they implemented registration (regardless of how efficient the current registration mechanism actually is), and the people that participate now are all informative and/or very nice people. Kudos to Ingrid and Juergen for their hard work addressing people's complaints.

You could try to email Juergen directly.

is this the one at FOS web site? I don't like the format of the forum. I prefer this format, with threaded discussions and all (or has FOS forum changed?).

Formally it has not. Admins have introduced registration which helps to filter shite out now, so practically there are certain improvements.

The forum( PRS ) has been down for some time.
Does anyone know if it will ever come back?

Neither Juergen nor Ingrid have posted here to tell us what's going on, so I have no idea if it will ever come back. I do find its prolonged absence surprising.

I know that Juergen has made the same software available on his own web site at:

Anyone know if a public statement has been made on the FOS mail list?

The only one was posted by Juergen on November 5:

Hi folks,

sorry to say that we've got server problems for some days.
Those that are missing the PRS forum might use the gowan.de forum until the
PRS forum is up and running.

Cheers
Juergen
