Shane was interviewed in a pub garden and he was slagging off walkmans (as they were called) saying they stopped people from communicating with each other "If you're listening to a walkman you can't hear . . . (a bird started singing) . . . that"

" we were beaten to number one by two puffs and a piano"

A wonderful reference to the "pet shop boys" :lol: :lol:

I have a very vague recollection that this tongue twister/ poem played a part in my history exam as regards a 18th century major killer decease . But for the life of me can "t remember which one.Possibly some thing to do with Lancashire mill towns

Shane addressed the crowd at the 9:30 Club on 9 March 2006 about four songs in, with a glorious "Shut Up!"..... I thought that was pretty special because he was speaking to me. I have shut up ever since. Amazing.
