Shane-Best Condition Since...

...the mid eighties? I have listened to a couple of the recent reunion shows, 2001-2005, seen TrashCity's video clip and I am thinking that Shane is looking and sounding the best that he has in nearly 20 years. Am I alone in thinking this? Of course I have missed a fair bit of Pogues and Shane history from the early 90's until just recently so I may be missing something. What do y'all think?

You could be right from what I saw tonight - couldn't believe he could look so good! And sound so good too. In fact apart from the falling over during the waltz no-one would have thought he was even pissed! Brilliant night - thanks guys!

He needs some teeth and surgery on his throat. It was one thing when he had at least four teeth. Now he's ALL gums. Lets just hope if they decide to make a new album (amen to that), Shane'll at least get some falsies for the recording.
