ok--i need to know a few details.i know shane is from tipperary in nenagh.i plan to visit nenagh and i need to know what his favorite hangouts are when he is home. what are the pubs he frequents?????i dont care for looking for him in london at the boogaloo--i want to visit his home town instead. please help.

i know what village he lives in ,hes recently moved back there ,but it aint roight to give such details out

well i didnt exactly say i wanted his address--thats not important and that would be an intrusion i agree. no--what im looking for is just a feel of his home town because i know its a place he loves so much. thats not asking too much is it???i have always liked to visit hometowns of the living and the dead..

roight ,he lives in a very small village ,many cottages have got thatched roofs .ive been to this village many times before shane decided to move there a few years ago .the village is very near to the shores of lough derg ,and obviously there is a few pubs on his doorstep too

Try Philly Ryan's Pub in Nenagh town. Even if Shane's not there, you'll meet a grand group of lads, the Governor especially.

Jesus Mary and holy saint Joseph, it's hardly a state secret which village in Tipp Shane comes from! He shouts about it all the time, sings about it in his songs (Silent Scream), put his cottage on the cover of one of his singles ...

Shane bought a flat in north London earlier this year and moved back.

and as Macrua's site tells, his dinner parties are becoming so legendary they regularly make it into the newspapers

oh bless your heart everyone.keep it coming--and really im not looking to run in to the man--just a feel of the place thats all. but imagine if i did run in to him.......
