I'm going to fuck off to Madrid that week instead. I'll probably spend less money there.

Think I'll apply for a casual job at the venue, then resign the day after the gig.
Has anyone had any success? How about you Fr Mc ?

Yes, i was extremely lucky to get two tickets. It's embarrassing to say i got them when so many real fans are locked out. Just somehow i was lucky on the morning of the sale.

I'm absolutely gutted for everyone who didn't get a ticket.

Fr Mc. I have the absolute, best ever solution to your' guilt, and indeed, my misfortune.
How's about please, please, I buy you a small Dubonnet, pie and chips, and you could "gift" me your' OTHER ticket, for say 100 of Europe's big ones? It would make you feel that you have done something really good this Christmas, for the less-privileged.
You know you want to. I don't want to work at this venue. But I'll buy you Guinness, and make sure the glass is clean. I don't really know about Dubonnet. Come on Mr. Father. What do you say??????

Sorry Scottie, an old friend has already offered me a pint of Guinness for the ticket.

So now we know the ticket is for sale and we're just dickering over price, eh?

TWO pints of Guinness!

You'll all be pleased to know the ticket is going to a true old school Medusan. Face value + 1 pint of Guinness.

Well, it certainly seems like a great day to be in Dublin, ticket or no ticket. 8)
My prior plans see me there in July, but more power to those who dash over. It's a goddamn good idea.

Hello everybody
I have two tickets spare for the birthday concert. The reason being that I had to buy four in order to get one for myself and another. I bought them from someone who was clearly selling to make a profit and for that reason they are not cheap - 300 Euros each. I am not a tout and I am making no money on this myself but I do want to try and get recoup the money I spent on the tickets I am not using. I don't expect any money upfront but just a firm commitment to meet at a given time and place on the day to exchange tickets and money. If this is of interest then please contact me at chingchok95@gmail.com
I accept its a lot of money but along with everyone else I tried and failed to buy tickets on the day (spent an hour and a half constantly phoning the booking line to eventually get through and it was sold out) so have had to go down this route.

Im still looking for 1 or 2 tickets
Im travelling over from Cambridge for the day on the hunt, getting into Dublin lunchtime so if anyone has a spare ticket I could meet any time in the afternoon
Beware as there's someone on done deal.ie who tried to scam me 250euros for 2 tickets
