Hmm... considering his age and his lifestyle-he doesn't look too bad to me! I think he looked a lot worse around 2000. Heck, he has has better teeth than me!

Think the difference is that in the early 2000s he was looking like a rotten rockstar....but since he broke his pelvis last year and especially these days he is looking like an tired and sick old man in his 70s without any fire in his eyes....may he has new teeth now or not....15 years too late...i'm afraid we won't hear him singing with them....

When i look at the 30th anniversary dvd then i see another guy.....and this is only 4 years ago.... he's getting old really quick and there will be no turning back...

Hope the Future will prove me wrong....

Well that's really interesting Shane MacGowan sober. Good luck to him, whatever will be will be. I too agree that we have seen him looking worse. I wonder if it will enhance or dampen his creativity, getting on the wagon seemed to help Christy Moore.

Wow, I can't believe how good he looks in these pictures. Bizarre, because in the one's above, he looks so frail. It did look like he had a glass of wine in front of him in a few of the pics though. I wonder how the sobriety is going?

Yeah that's true but all these pix were taken this spring or summer....before he went to the hospital again....on the last pix the looked tired and fragile... hope he will get well soon....
