I'm glad to see that so many big-named people got together so quickly and did such a good job for the cause. Maybe they didn't have a lot going on at the time, but just the same.

I'm now convinced Mick Jones has a closet full of duplicates of the same outfit, he's like a superhero.

Thoughts-

It's a shame Mick Jones didn't produce it. It could do with a touch of "live" rawness.

What's happened to Nick Cave's eyebrows? They look like they're trying to live independent of his face.

Shane doesn't do too amazing when he slips into the upper register.

Why is Glen Matlock singing? He has no voice. I would rather they'd had literally any other surviving Sex Pistol.

I don't know who Paloma Faith is, but she'd get it.

Word from Those That Know is that there are currently plans only to have the single available for sale in the UK and Ireland. They're looking into international distribution but at this moment it's not in the cards.


(Things in Cali are dandy, thanks for asking. The trees are putting out buds, the grass is green, we've had a few winter storms help to start refilling the reservoirs. Yay Spring! Here's hoping your weather and power improves soon.)
