Shane's death in 2005?

Post Mon Jan 10, 2005 11:41 pm

Anyone know what odds the bookies are giving on Shane's death this year?

:P Shane's never going to die. He's the kinda person we expect to die any minute, but lives to be ninenty.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

Yeah, trying to forcast Shane's death is about as pointless as forcasting the Pope's...

On the Frank Skinner show, he said that he intended to outlive all his doubters - just to piss them off.

Long live Shane and let all the feckers forecasting his death die!
It was on the 23rd of June
As I lay blasted in my room
A small bird sang on an ivy branch
And the song they sang was the "Jug of Punch"

I second Paddy's motion!

Reckon that the papers have already written Shane's obituray and have kept it on file (updating it from time to time) like they supposedly did with the Queen Mother, Bob Hope, Ronald Regan, etc.?
