Well, in truth, it was only ever really a backing-track loop and a lot of oul talk. Which saved us the trouble. As Shane will never tire of telling you, The Pogues were all up their own arse at this point and he was the only one who still wanted to play "Irish music". Such as this piece. Which was long. 30 minutes long. Practically an album. With no discernible Irish music in it. Except for the composer's nationality. But not up its own arse. Not at all.
