I just watched this documentary again..on youtube (isn't youtube the bestest thing in the world!)
There's a huge error early on that i'd not noticed before. The narrator states Shane was born in Tipperary, every man and his dog knows he was born in Kent, England, as his parents were visiting family for Christmas. I'm astonished such a mistake got through all the processes, into the actual final edit. Still a brilliant doc though. I love the Christie Moore and Sinead O'connor versions of Shane songs. And Ronnie Drew singing 'the dunes' is truly awesome.
