Not so long ago Macgowan was talking about retirement. Does anyone think he'll ever do a concert again? Will The shane gang ressurect

Aye, I'll be there too but something tells me we'll never see 90 mins of shane macgowan on stage again which is sad to be fair.

Most people thought that in 1991.

Word is though, he's sold all the rights to his songs so has retired with a very healthy bank balance. But this is most probably just shite pub talk from around this way.

Thats awful if true Mcgreer. True his voice ain't what it was (in my opinion his voice got better after 91) but there ya go. Phil Cheveons testimonial may be his last gig who knows.off topic but I wonder will all the pogues make an appearance and maybe play out on thousands..we know shane and terry will be there. One thing for sure is its gonna be a strange gig to attend but I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I wouldn't bet on it deisecelt - I know that Spider won't be there - in his own words, 'not from any lack of will' and I doubt that James will be able to make it either.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping Shane behaves himself if he shows up...
