Absolutely gutted im gonna miss this gig. Shane at the Olympia id only love to witness again. The line up looks fantastic so I hope to god someone there has a camera on the night as ill be on hols. More importantly I pray that christy dignam kicks cancer in the ass as the man is a legend. Put on some of the best gigs ive been to over the years. Frightening how many people are affected by the cursed disease. To any of ye goin, have a blast! !!

Thanks for the link. I've been through the whole thing twice and Shane is not at the gig. Was he booked to play?

He was originally on the bill but im guessing that when he was told he had to perform an aslan number he pulled out. Not one for learning new lyrics.

I'd disagree. He's done loads of suprising collaborations over the years for various one-off performances.
