Post Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:39 am

From his facebook site:

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish and local MP Steve Rotheram have unveiled plans for a charity single to help raise money for Hillsborough families' fight for justice.

Robbie Williams and Mel C, Shane MacGowan, Mick Jones (The Clash), Peter Hooton (The Farm), Pete Wylie (The Justice Tonight Band), Richard Hawley, Chris Sharrock (Oasis), Ren Harvieu, Dave McCabe (The Zutons), Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Hollie Cook, Jon McClure (Reverend & The Makers), John Power (Cast), Beverley Knight og Gerry Marsden (Gerry and the Pacemakers) and more artists too, will sing on the charity version of The Hollies' "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother".

The single will be released on December 17 and is aiming to top the Christmas charts.

Just heard this on the radio while having lunch. I think I heard Shane on it near the end but not too sure. It's only a typical Christmas charity single really nothing special but at least it's raising money for a good cause.
