More on the Speech Project and the inspiration behind it is HERE.

The album is to be realeased in February. Also, the musicians will be touring the UK in March, playing to videos some of which feature Shane. Details on the project's site.

A new album entitled Speech Project will be released on Friday, February 3 in Ireland and Monday, February 6 in UK.
Featuring new compositions by Irish musician, composer and producer Gerry Diver, the project has vocal contributions from Shane MacGowan, Damien Dempsey, Christy Moore, Martin Hayes, Danny Meehan and Margaret Barry. Gerry combines rhythm and melody of the spoken word and traditional music.
