No, that really was the content of the comic strip. Shane was a bit like the Spoilt Bastard of sweeties, although Mummy's Little Darling never spoke in so outrageous a stage Irish brogue!

Ha ha quality. I must admit I have browsed through VIZ in the shop (well I aint paying and youve got to do something on your lunch and what better than hang around WH Smiths or HMV ((to my eternal shame I once reada a whole book on three sucesive lunches)) on ones lunch) and ive never seen the Shane strip. :(

A bit late, but still...
Check Viz issue 100 (February/March 2000). As far as I know they failed to develop this sketch of pronouncedly Oirish obtrusive brat with a strong aversion for tooth brushing into a series.
