Just to be a bit boring about it, RTE television clearly has issues with international rights, royalties, whatever, or it would allow international access to its TV programmes automatically, as it does within Ireland. I believe BBC has a similiar lock within the UK. No doubt the day will come when Publicly-funded television stations will automatically make their programming available but until then, it would be hypocritical of us to whinge about illegal downloading, and the precipitous loss of income it has already cost us, while still endorsing the pirating of television shows with copyright content. I believe DZM's position may also be that he is held personally liable for all such copyright infringements facilitated by this site.

All correct Mr Chevron
The people on this Forum have four choices if they want to see this show
1. You live in Ireland and it's no problem you just go to the RTE-site and see it through their "Play-service" (every public service company have this service on their sites) SVT in Sweden have a lovely site here you have "London Live" with Lilly Allen
http://svtplay.se/v/1773516/london_live ... 456,1,f,-1
2. Get a friend in Ireland to record it and send it through snailmail or through the net
3. Fly to Ireland and see it there
4. Hope that it will appear on som tracker like TPB
I'll get my hope to number 4 8)
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground. But you'll stick your head back out and shout "We'll have another round"

When I love something very much (especially music and related stuff) I want to share it with people of the same kind.
Seems Like Irish people don't feel that urge...

What the fuck do you want me or other "Irish people" to do "Guest"?

Would you like me to try and hook up my SkyPlus box to the computer? I know i can get a capture package from PC World in Limerick (1 hour drive each way and probably 30euro). I've nothing better to do this time of year with 2 children, a job and a trip to London next weekend

I know!......... I'll just go to Kilkenny and call into Argos and pick a DVD recorder (cheap one of course, say.... 75 euro) get it home, copy program to DVD, convince you to register to this forum, PM you and get your postal address, package it up and send it off. Then you PM me to say thanks but it doesn't play on your player.

Don't be so fucking smart, "Guest".

I'm sure, in time, it will be on YouTube or similar.

Well here I am again.
If I insulted one of you Irish people, sorry, that wasn't meant to be.
Shane is one of my hero's and I think he is an interesting character and has often something interesting to say (great oneliners with sometimes deeper meanings).
When he's on television ofcourse I want to see that if possible.
There are more people like Shane who I think are interesting and each of them have fans, lots of fans and a small inner circle of "freaks" who want to have/see/collect everything.
To some of these inner circles I am a "member", not of Shane's.
So when there is some (something) new(s) I get that info or recording etc. mostly direct from other fans, ofcourse when I have something I also share it.
So I thought there would be Shane/Pogues fans who took some time to record it and "spread the word".
I hope you can understand my writings (my English is not that good) and what I meant with writing before about this issue.
Cheers!

For fans of 'Victoria & Shane Grow Their Own' there is now a DVD on release. Sadly, it isn't the original programme. It's actually a DVD of Ms. Clarke giving yoga lessons for gardeners. I haven't invested in said item myself. Details are here: http://www.angelsandyoga.com/buy.html

Someone should buy it and talk about that DVD.

Someone else.

I agree Smerker. I am very much looking forward to ${someoneElse}'s review of it.
