Blimey, we're in the Southwest now. That tidal surge must have been even bigger than predicted.

I still hadn't decided whether to go and see Lisa. But I think you may have persuaded me that it's a good idea, RR. 8)

Not yet heared many of her songs [her cd is on order though] but would say she is worth at least one night out/gig.Hope you go & enjoy yourself. .You may have to check to see if Gerry is playing any of the gigs with her.
Not had a chance to go to many gigs of late with the exception of 2 Blockhead gigs.

I missed the Vancouver show. Had taken the wee-est one to Where the Wild Things Are but it was sold out, so we went home & watched a movie & the skies opened & dumped a heavy, long deluge of rain the likes of which we never get in Vancouver. So i wimped out, couldn't make myself go out in that.

Thanks for reply, the fact that a show was Sold Out has got to be a good thing though.

But it reads as if it was the movie that was sold out, not The Popes' show... or am I totally confused as usual?
I could be wrong.

I'm with you. To me it says:

1) I took tiny child to see movie, but movie was sold out
2) Went home to watch different movie
3) While home the sky broke and made everything wet
4) "The hell with that" and I did not go to the show
I wish I had some whiskey and a gun, my dear

Nope that's right. Movie sold out (tho' child not that tiny any more, I sometimes realize); rain came & i wimped out on venturing out the the concert.

Did anybody in Vancouver go? Steve? How was it?
